• Crocheting is profitable and makes this world a better place

Crochet  is profitable: I wish, I would have counted how much money I saved  with the  many unique, personal gifts I made, saving expensive wedding gifts, obligatory Christmas gifts, birthday presents with pizzaz, friendly pick me up gifts to make people happy……….

When I was  a stay home Mom, I supplied a lady who went to craft shows with crochet bunnies, doilies and wash cloths, who made a profit selling. I cranked out bunnies and wash clothes as much as I could and yet in the middle of her craft show weekend she called me and wanted me to stay up all night, because she sold out of the huge stash she had as inventory already.  She sold my bunnies for $39. I got $22 and it took me 2 hours to make one. In todays market one still will sell them in a bazaar for $22. Yarn is inexpensive if you pick it up wholesale or in thrift shops. People are sick of manufactured Asian imports and are looking for something unique. You get faster, which makes it fun to produce.

Crocheting is HONEST work. I can’t tell you how many people make a living with deception. I can’t believe there are so many gullible people flooding cyber space and even more, who love to “help them out”! Ever since I learn about internet business I am FLOODED with “well” meaning money grabbers, who would not mind taking advantage of an ignorant little crochet lady like me. hihihi. But praise God the business world doesn’t take me serious, which makes for less spam.

Crochet is an excellent Fund raiser:

Crochet is a fun and exciting way to learn, relax  and be productive at the same time. It brings people together from all walks of life. It is an excellent fundraiser for your church or civic organization (contact me, if you need ideas how to do that)

Your items make this world a happier place:

Nursing homes need bed-jackets and blankets, premature babies need hats, children in other countries need mittens ( which they TREASURE, since they have nothing), homeless people need warmth, unwed mothers need things for their babies, disaster relieve needs loving touches, there is a whole world out there that needs our love creativity and involvement. I be glad to help you come up with something we can do! Next week I will list patterns for some of those things and my focus on designing will be with those needs in mind.
